They are produced from the highest quality linen yarns and are commercially dyed to ensure their lasting colour fastness. They are durable enough to withstand a lifetime of use and washing and will infact become softer and more luxurious the more they are washed. In weaving her tablecloths, Riitta likes to combine traditional weaves and techniques with vibrant colours in order to produce designs that are interesting enough for them to be used as wall hangings as well as tablecloths. Although up to 4 cloths may be woven from the same warp, no two are ever identical as Riitta varies the colours and weave patterns to produce subtley different results. She also weaves tablecloths in natural and bleached colours which are as beautiful as any of the coloured cloths. Riitta's table runners, place mats and fine linens napkins are perfect as a complement to a tablecloth or in their own right, the designs and colours are as varied as for the tablecloths.
